TOUR 5 :- WINERIES YARRA VALLEY TOUR (GIFT CERTIFATE AVAILABLE FOR THIS TOUR) This tour comprises visiting the wineries at Yarra Valley. Select your own or leave it to us. We start at Domaine Chandon established in 1986. The Australian Winery of the French Champagne house of Moet and Chandon known for Sparkling wines. Next Cold Stream Hills founded by renowned wine writer James Halliday in 1985. From here to Warramate Winery a small family run winery with vines that are dry-grown hand pruned and harvested. Followed by Dominique Portet Winery a centuries old wine making family. The Portet family holds possibly an unmatched record in the Australian wine industry. Dominique is the ninth generation in his family to be committed to winemaking. His family has had links with the wine industry since 1720 in his native Bordeaux. Here you get to see first hand the wine production method and talk to the local wine makers. We offer you Lunch at the well known 'Yering Station' or Chateau Yering's 'Sweet Water Cafe'. After lunch we travel to Punt Road Winery a friendly and welcoming Award Winning Winery then to Sticks Winery a lively unique and renowned Winery. Next is DeBortoli Winery, interesting wine from some of the oldest vines in the valley. Fantastic cheese and wine tastings with Italian style ambience. We introduce you to the highly respected and well known Richard Thomas a cheese maker for over 30 years. You can sample taste or buy at your pleasure. Now if time permits we visit Balgownie Estate Vineyard established by the now legendary winemaker Stuart Anderson in 1969. This vineyard was the first vineyard planted in the Bendigo district more than 80 years ago. This is one of Australia's great small vineyard famed for its long lived Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Last is finishing off. We tour back to Melbourne the back way across Christmas Hills and Kangaroo Ground. This is where we would like to take you, but its up to you weather you do all these wineries in the time allocated within 7 hours. We do not rush you if your enjoying talking and tasting at a particular winery we leave it to you when you want to move on. Its all about Relaxing and having a Good Time. Lunch is the only booking we need to be on time for because its pre booked. ALL WINE TASTINGS ARE FREE BUT LUNCH NEEDS TO BE PAID BY CUSTOMER. TOUR 6:- BEER YARRA VALLEY TOUR Between 10,000 and 15,000 years ago, some humans discontinued their nomadic hunting and gathering and settled down to farm. Grain was the first domesticated crop that started that farming process. The oldest proven records of brewing are about 6,000 years old and refer to the Sumerians. They had discovered a "divine drink" which certainly was a gift from the Gods. With this tour we take you to the Major Watering Holes ( Of The God Oden ) in the Yarra Valley. We start this tour by travelling the winding roads of Warrandyte to Healesville where we visit Buckleys Brewery named after William Buckley the famous escaped convict. The beers are traditionally brewed, non-filtered and full flavoured. This is Yarra Valleys First Traditional Brewery with Solar Heated Brew. There are 4 beers to choose from. This is where you will be taken through the brewery and shown the step by step production method of making Beer. Next stop "Innocent Bystander Giant Steps" and the new brewery 'White Rabbit', the guys there are not only Wine Makers but Brewers and have been awarded for "Little Creatures" The 2007 Worlds Best Ale in The Australian International Beer Awards. There is also a personal selection of some of the worlds other great beers. Next we travel the rolling hills across to Yarra Glen to visit Hargreaves Hill Brewery this is a family owned mico-brewery that brews with rainwater, they make the ales the old fashioned way no preservatives, no chemicals or sugars. They have 3 new beers and 2 guest taps. This is also where we stop for lunch at the new Bar and Restaurant. The Chef is known for his delicious modern brasserie style menu. After lunch we visit Coldstream Brewery which is a mico-brewery that has Rod Williams a renowned brewer for over 25 years. His experience and expertise in establishing the brewery is marked by the unique beer and ales available. There are 4 beers available. We travel back to Melbourne via Warrandyte. ALL BEER TASTINGS AND LUNCH NEED TO BE PAID BY CUSTOMER TOUR 1 :- CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR This tour consists of touring the City, Bay and Surrounds Area of the CBD. Toorak(affluent), CliftonHill(reto), Carlton(little Italy), Fitzroy(bohem), Kew(Studley Park Boat house), The Yarra River...etc Picture yourself in a Classic Chevrolet Convertible travelling the streets of Melbourne with the wind blowing in your hair and everyone wondering who you are and wishng it was them. Stopping to view The Bay and have your champagne and french pastry on the pier. This is a feeling of luxury, this is unique! Spend a few hours seeing Melbourne and its surrounds from the perspective of a Classic Convertible Chevrolet Impala (either 1965 or 1968). This unique chauffeured tour lasts 2 hours transports you and up to three friends. Choose your own route, or let us choose for you and go to places such as Kew Boulevard along the Yarra - a lovely lush area or maybe the Country area of Warrandyte or the Bay area of St Kilda. You might want to have fish'n'chips at Station Pier or coffee and cake at Brunetti's in Carlton! STOPPING FOR COFFEE AND SNACKS AT CUSTOMERS EXPENSE
